Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10

Description

Sony Ericsson announced their first Android device -  XPERIA X10 which runs Google Android 1.6 “Donut”.

The new phone is fairly similar to the ‘new crop’ of touchscreen phones, packing a super-fast 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and a 4-inch high resolution screen.

Specs wise, the Xperia X10 has jumped to the head of the Android pack, and has added in a new overlay that’s probably the most comprehensive among other competitors too.

As part of the X10′s interface, Sony Ericsson added two applications, dubbed Timescape and Mediascape, to the Android, following in the footsteps of Motorola, HTC and Acer, which have also tweaked the operating system for their own handsets.
